1. Appearance pretreatment

2. Direct increase

After coating, the coupling agent molecules migrate to the bonding interface by the diffusion of molecules. As for the adhesive that needs to be cured, it needs to be placed for a period of time after the adhesive is coated, so that the coupling agent can complete the migration process, so that the better effect can be achieved. In practical use, the coupling agent often forms a stacking layer on the surface, but only the single molecular layer works. Therefore, the amount of coupling agent need not be too much.
Specific usage of silane coupling agent
1. Pretreatment filling method
The filler is put into the solid mixer (henshel or V-type solid mixer, etc.) and the silane solution is directly sprayed on the filler and mixed. The higher the rotating speed is, the better the dispersion effect is. Generally, the mixing time is 10-30 minutes (the slower the speed, the longer the time). The filler should be dried at 120 ℃ for 2 hours after treatment.
2. Silane coupling agent aqueous solution
(glass fiber surface treatment agent): glass fiber surface treatment agent often contains: film-forming agent, antistatic agent, surface active agent, coupling agent, water. The amount of coupling agent is generally 0.3% - 2% of the total amount of surface treatment agent for glass fiber. The pH value of 5 times aqueous solution is adjusted to a certain value with organic acid or salt. Under sufficient mixing, silane is added until it is clear, and then other components are involved. Isopropanol can be used to help dissolve insoluble silane. In the process of drawing, the surface treatment agent of glass fiber is sprayed on the glass fiber, and the solvent and water can be removed.
3. Bottom surface method
5% - 20% silane coupling agent solution is the same as the above, through coating, brushing, spraying, dipping the surface of the substrate, take out the room temperature to dry for 24 hours, preferably at 120 ℃ for 15 minutes.
4. Direct participation method
Silane can also directly participate in the filler / resin mixture, and when the resin and filler are mixed, silane can be directly sprayed into the mixture. Generally, the amount of coupling agent is 0. 1% - 2% (according to the packing diameter). Then the resin / filler added with silane is molded (extrusion, compression molding, coating, etc.).
